MANILA, Philippines — legendary volleyball player and coach Tina Salak is set to get married to her long-time companion Pauline Gretel on January 29 in Canada.

On Saturday, Salak shared the news of their impending civil union on Instagram, captioning the post with “Future Mrs & Mrs.” and adding an engagement ring emoji.

The announcement drew congratulations from Premier Volleyball League stars such as Kim Fajardo, Deanna Wong, Bang Pineda, Vanie Gandler, Denden Lazaro-Revilla, Pauline Gaston, and Salak’s former Army teammate Jovelyn Gonzaga. University of Santo Tomas setter Cassie Carballo, along with retired volleyball players Mela Tunay and Gretchen Ho, also extended their best wishes to the coach.
