The Philippine women’s national football team, also known as the Filipinas, revealed its 27-member roster for the upcoming Pinatar Cup in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain. The lineup includes eight new faces, adding depth and versatility to the squad as they prepare to compete in the prestigious tournament for the second time.
Scheduled to take place from February 21 to 27, the Pinatar Cup will see the Filipinas facing off against formidable opponents in friendly matches. They are set to play against Finland on February 21, Scotland on February 24, and either Slovenia or Finland again on February 27.
In the goalkeeper position, Leah Bradley and Nina Meollo will join Olivia McDaniel, forming a formidable trio between the posts. Meanwhile, the attacking lineup will feature Alexa Pino and Isabella Bandoja alongside Dionesa Tolentin, Isabella Flanigan, Chandler McDaniel, and star player Sarina Bolden.
On the defensive end, Rhea Chan, Katana Norman, and Aiselyn Sia will provide stability and resilience, supported by Maya Alcantara, Angela Beard, Reina Bonta, Jessika Cowart, Sofia Harrison, and Hali Long.
In the midfield, Camille Sahirul will bolster the team’s playmaking abilities, joining Tahnai Annis, Sara Eggesvik, Jessica Miclat, Isabella Pasion, Quinlet Quezada, Jaclyn Sawicki, and Meryll Serano.
