Following a standout rookie season in NCAA Season 99, Peter Rosillo has made the decision to depart from Mapua University and join Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
The 5-foot-8 guard confirmed his move to GMA News Online, becoming the latest addition to the Knights’ offseason recruitment drive. Rosillo joins former Perpetual big man Mark Denver Omega in bolstering Letran’s lineup for Season 101.
Rosillo played a pivotal role for Mapua in the previous season, providing support for senior players Clint Escamis, Paolo Hernandez, Marc Cuenco, and Warren Bonifacio. Despite their efforts, the Cardinals fell short in the finals against San Beda University.
Despite the team’s ultimate defeat, Rosillo made a lasting impression, showcasing his skills on both ends of the floor. He averaged 5.19 points, 3.14 rebounds, and 1.81 assists per game, emerging as a key contributor for Mapua throughout the season. Notably, Rosillo played a crucial defensive role in Game 1 of the finals, earning recognition as the ‘Jacob Cortez stopper.’
