McLaren junior driver Bianca Bustamante is gearing up for an action-packed winter series as she joins the GRS Team to compete in the Formula Winter Series, set to kick off at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain this weekend.
Bustamante, 19, took to Instagram to express her excitement about the upcoming races, stating, “We’ve been working hard in the winter break to prepare for the upcoming F1 Academy season and I’m excited to be back on track for 3 out of 4 rounds in Spain.”
The Formula Winter Series adheres to F4 standards, providing a competitive platform for emerging talents like Bustamante to hone their skills and showcase their potential on the track.
In addition to her participation in the winter series, Bustamante is diligently preparing for her second season in the F1 Academy. Recently, McLaren unveiled her car and livery for the 2024 season, where she will represent ART Grand Prix.
