The 33-year-old guard has already received a call-up from the Guam men’s national team and is set to compete in the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers. With his airfare tickets and necessary paperwork sorted, Cruz is ready to embark on this international journey as soon as the PBA finals conclude.

However, Cruz’s focus remains firmly on helping San Miguel clinch the Commissioner’s Cup title. With Game 6 of the finals scheduled for Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, he is hopeful that the series will end soon so he can fully transition to his duties with the Guam national team.
