Far Eastern University’s volleyball program continues to produce top talents as another standout player, Kiesha Bedonia, makes the leap to the professional ranks by signing with the PLDT High Speed Hitters. Bedonia’s signing comes just days before the highly anticipated start of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on February 20.
PLDT High Speed Hitters warmly welcomed Bedonia, a promising outside spiker who showcased her skills during her lone season with the FEU Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP last year.
Bedonia’s addition strengthens the High Speed Hitters’ wing spiker rotation, complementing a roster that includes established players such as Savannah Davison, Kianna Dy, Fiola Ceballos, Jules Samonte, and Jov Prado, who is currently recovering from an ACL injury.
During her stint with FEU, Bedonia made her mark by earning her first individual award in the V-League Collegiate Preseason tournament. Despite the Lady Tamaraws settling for silver in the competition, Bedonia’s standout performances demonstrated her potential to thrive at the professional level.
