Metro Manila (January 23) – Kevin Quiambao, playing amidst a roster filled with NBA talent, has become the leading offensive force for Strong Group Athletics in the current 33rd Dubai International Basketball Championship.
As a prominent player from La Salle, Quiambao is averaging an impressive 18.7 points, along with four rebounds and three assists, contributing significantly to the Philippine team’s undefeated streak in the competition so far.
In recognition of his outstanding overall performance due to his impressive all-around performance, due to his outstanding all-around performance, the United Arab Emirates has expressed its desire to naturalize Quiambao.
Strong Group Athletics head coach Charles Tiu confirmed this development and added that his organization was in full support of the star forward.

“Whatever it is that he chooses to decide, we are with his decision,” He added.
Quiambao was one of the UAAP Season 86 Finals Most Valuable Player, led La Salle to the men’s basketball championship
“To me, he’s already a top basketball player for the NCAA tournament in the Philippines already,” Tiu said.
