In a remarkable achievement, Alex Eala clinched her first professional doubles title at the W50 Pune event in India. Teaming up with Latvian Darja Semenistaja (WTA #158), Eala (WTA #365) triumphed over the top-seeded duo of Fanny Stollar from Hungary (WTA #153) and Naiktha Bains from the UK (WTA #100) with a score of 7-6(8), 6-3 in Saturday’s final.

Simultaneously, over in Chennai, India, Filipino Niño Alcantara (ITF #176) alongside his Indonesian teammate Christopher Rungkat (ITF #422), secured the championship in the ITF India F2 doubles category. They successfully defeated the Russian-Indian pair of Bogdan Bobrov (ITF #442) and Adil Kalyanpur (ITF #1498) in the final match, achieving a straight-set victory with scores of 6-4, 6-2.
