Dubai International Bowling Centre witnessed a display of Filipino talent as Zach Sales Ramin, Marc Dylan Custodio, Stephen Luke Diwa, and Dubai-based Hashim Guinomla advanced to the finals of the 10th DIBC-DELTA Open Bowling Tournament on Sunday. These young bowlers showcased their skills amidst stiff competition, earning spots among the top 22 qualifiers from a field of 315 bowlers representing 29 countries.
Leading the pack is 18-year-old Zach Sales Ramin, who made history as the youngest winner of the Singapore International Open in 2023. Ramin, a key member of the 2023 Asian Youth Bowling Championship Gold Medalist Squad, secured the seventh spot in the qualifiers, demonstrating his remarkable talent and potential on the bowling lanes.
Marc Dylan Custodio, a 20-year-old student from De La Salle University, proved his mettle by clinching the 12th spot in the qualifiers. Custodio, a bronze medalist at the International Bowling Federation Under-21 Championships 2022, showcased his skill and determination, earning his place among the tournament’s elite competitors.
Joining them is 19-year-old Stephen Luke Diwa, another bronze medalist at the Under-21 Championships, who secured the 21st spot in the qualifiers. Diwa’s consistent performance and dedication propelled him into the finals, where he aims to make his mark on the international bowling scene.
