Filipina skateboarder Margielyn Didal showcased her prowess in the inaugural Southeast Asian Street Skateboarding Competition, contributing to the Philippines’ impressive three-medal haul in the event held in Baler, Aurora on Monday.
The 24-year-old Olympian delighted the home crowd as she clinched the bronze medal in the women’s finals, earning a commendable score of 128.62. Despite facing tough competition, Didal’s remarkable performance added another achievement to her illustrious career.
The top spot in the women’s finals was secured by Vareeraya Sukaseem of Thailand, who dominated the competition with an impressive score of 170.38 points. Following closely behind was another Thai contender, Nathtiyabhorn Nawatikwong, who secured the silver medal with a score of 150.88.
