In a surprising twist of events, Bryan Bagunas and Cignal have decided to set aside their past battles, with the 6-foot-5 national team stalwart making a commitment to play for the HD Spikers after completing his stint with Win Streak in the summer.
Bagunas, a key player with numerous accolades, views joining Cignal as the next pivotal step in his career. This announcement comes as Cignal reinforces its lineup by adding talents such as Ron Rosales, Giles Torres, Madz Gampong, Nas Gwaza, Cian Silang, and libero Vince Lorenzo to their squad.
The HD Spikers, under the leadership of men’s head coach Dexter Clamor, express their enthusiasm for the upcoming 2024 season. Coach Clamor stated:
“This 2024, we’re coming back with a renewed squad, with a determination to prove ourselves. The hunger is still there. We are grateful to Bryan for signing with us, and we welcome all our new additions who will bring their effort, energy, and lessons to the team. Hopefully, we can achieve our goals in each tournament because, without a doubt, we will fight for every point in every game we play.”
As Bagunas aligns his talents with the HD Spikers, the volleyball community eagerly anticipates the dynamic synergy and competitive edge this new roster will bring to the upcoming season. With Bagunas on board and fresh faces joining the ranks, Cignal aims to make a significant impact and compete fiercely in the upcoming tournaments.
